The RIX Group completing "Stage 1" of a recent cold and rainy project. The project entailed over 100m² de-vegetation and scaling of loose material, the installation of 50 x 3m soil nails, the installation of 160m² of SL41 galvanised mesh and the placement of 25m³ of 25MPa Shotcrete. "Stage 1" was completed in 18hrs.

The pool is now taking shape with the first spray successfully completed. Pictured is the pouring of the floor also visible is the sharp straight edges of a high class shotcrete finish.

With the top excavation completed and the lower pool drilled and bolted, a scaffold has been installed to assist the steel fixers in placing the steel reinforcement.

Rail Corridor Stabilisation

RIX were busy this weekend with Railway corridor works. Scheduled rail network shutdowns enabled routine cutting stabilisation to proceed.
