RIX recently took part in a project to rehabilitate a site that previously contained a service station. This site presented some interesting challenges as the soil was severely contaminated with Hydrocarbons. RIX partnered with the client in designing a solution that employed shotcrete and a gas vapour membrane to protect end users of the structure from any intrusion of toxic gases contained in the contaminated soil.Thursday, January 26, 2012
